Dr. Nioaka Campbell joined the staff of the Department of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Science in 2004. A graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College, Columbia, South Carolina, she continued her education at USC, completing a Doctor of Medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Campbell completed a residency in general psychiatry at Palmetto Health Richland/University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2004.
Dr. Campell is board certified in psychiatry and neurology. Her special interests are in sports psychiatry, depressive disorders, evidence based medicine, and women's issues.
