Dr. Pollack is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine where he earned his medical degree and a masters degree in physiology. He completed residency training in family medicine at Trident Health System/Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Following residency, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Ala.

Prior to joining USC Sports Medicine, Pollack served as a primary care and sports medicine physician with Palmetto Primary Care Physicians in Charleston.

Dr. Pollack specializes in providing patients of all ages non-operative sports medicine care. An expert in concussion management, he is trained in using ImPACT computerized concussion evaluation software. In addition, he is skilled in providing comprehensive orthopaedic care using the latest in ultrasound technology and will offer patients viscosupplementation injections for osteoarthritis of the knee joint. He also serves as a team physician for the USC Gamecocks.
