Biography
After more than twenty years in private practice in Spartanburg, SC, Dr. Herbert joined the faculty of the University of South Carolina Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2001. He is a North Atlantic Menopause Society (NAMS) Certified Menopause Practitioner. He serves as Clinical Director of Palmetto Health Women’s Center. Dr. Herbert is active in medical student education, serving as the clerkship director for fourth year acting interns and coordinating the OB/GYN special interest group for medical students. Dr. Herbert’s special interests include care of the menopausal patient and gynecology surgery.
