The Department of Pediatrics offers a wide array of services to children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. In addition to preventive well-child care and general acute (sick) care, we provide subspecialty programs in cardiology, developmental and behavioral problems (including ADHD), endocrinology (dealing with the endocrine glands) and diabetes, genetics, hematology (diseases of the blood and blood-forming organs) and oncology, infectious diseases, neurology and nephrology (the branch of medicine that deals with the kidneys).

Through our association with Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital, additional services are offered in gastroenterology, neurology, neonatology, pulmonology, surgery, neurosurgery, orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology, urology, critical care, emergency medicine, and child abuse and neglect.

Appointments are made by referrals from physicians and other health care providers.
