Primary Health Care
The family practitioners and pediatricians at University Primary Care provide
primary health care for the entire family. In addition to treating acute and
chronic illness, we serve urgent care needs for non-emergency problems such as
ear infections, minor burns, and cuts and bruises.
We also furnish preventive care for adults, and provide patient education
to help people achieve a healthier lifestyle. Our physicians conduct well-child
exams and immunizations for children, as well as physicals required for camp
and sports participation and college entrance.
Occupational Medicine
Through our occupational medicine program, we provide a broad range of clinical
services to assist area employers in maintaining a healthier workforce. We can
identify health problems that could lead to extended illness or injury through
pre-employment physicals, drug screening, and annual exams that are mandated
for particular types of jobs.
We also treat work-related injuries and illnesses and make referrals for specialized
care or rehabilitation services when necessary. Our goal is to restore the injured
or ill employee to a productive status as soon as possible, while providing quality,
compassionate care.
